QUALITY SYSTEMS SEASONAL LEAD

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation of all results acquired for the determination of the quality of the product
• Test team (metal detectors, scales, etc.)
• Check the tote filler paperwork documentation for corroboration of production
• Communicate any anomaly that occurred on the line (refrigeration, foreign matter quality of product, mechanical, etc.), to the respective staff and the Quality Systems Manager.
• Verify checks are done correctly and on time for grading and PCT
• Complete mid shift sanitation report
• Follow and grade according to customer specifications and Nortera specifications
• Responsible for the health & safety management system to achieve established goals and provide a safe, efficient environment for all employees.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and set a proper example at all times.
• Enforce and implement policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Help to produce the highest quality of finished product
• Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
• Report any food safety, health & safety, and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary

Requirements

No experience required, open to training

Qualifications

Ability to work seasonally - any time between June and November *60-84/week with *OT over 40 hours

Skills

Seasonal work experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
