Key Responsibilities
- Maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, forms, and documentation.
- Ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and identify process gaps.
- Track corrective actions and verify effective resolution.
- Monitor quality metrics, trends, and performance.
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Support process improvements and standardization.
- Support quality training and communicate process changes.
- Partner with Operations and other teams to resolve quality issues.
Work Environment
- Primarily works in a warehouse and operational environment.
- Regular interaction with warehouse employees, supervisors, managers, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
- May require time spent on the warehouse floor observing processes, conducting audits, investigating issues, and supporting training.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where operational priorities and quality requirements may change.
- May require occasional travel or support across multiple warehouse locations, as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Quality, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in quality, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or a similar operational environment preferred.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, internal auditing, document control, corrective action, or continuous improvement preferred.
- Experience in a similar quality, compliance, operations, or process improvement role is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate quality data and trends.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management principles preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and follow corrective actions through completion.
- Ability to safely and effectively use standard office equipment and technology required for documentation, reporting, data analysis, communication, and quality management activities.
- Familiarity with warehouse operational equipment and processes is beneficial.
