About the role
The Quality System Coordinator supports Quality System Managers and Quality Control Leads by utilizing organizational and analytical skills. They are expected to be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
- Schedule, prepare, and assist with internal audits and management reviews.
- Organize and maintain the company's calibration system.
- Receive, process, and schedule project-specific submittal requests.
- Conduct data integrity audits weekly and report findings.
- Ensure that quality processes comply with Clark Pacific and third-party standards (e.g., PCI, ACI, IAS, etc.).
- Recommend training needs and methods of team members based on audit results.
- Audit current work processes including pre-pour inspections, post-pour inspections, and lab functions.
- Provide project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work with Quality Management to quickly resolve life safety, high quantity, and/or high-cost issues.
- Monitor and report on all quality activities, processes, and procedures.
- Develop internal auditing tools and conduct internal audits and reports.
- Determine data-driven solutions and implement quality improvement plans.
- Perform regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
- Assist with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide Quality System Managers and Quality Control Leads with quality planning and support.
- Prepare and maintain quality management documentation.
Qualifications
- A degree in construction management, engineering, business management, or a related field is preferred.
- Quality Control experience or certification (e.g., ISO 9000, ASQ Certifications) is preferred.
- Project Coordinator experience is acceptable.
