Quality Support Technician

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer.
• Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area. Promptly notify the General Manager or assigned technician should any defects or issues be found upon inspection.
• Assist in the general maintenance of shop location and outside grounds.
• Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensure that test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Utilizes all required safety equipment, adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal and participates in monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department; keep personal work area organized and returns tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.
• Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Perform cleaning activities such as mopping, dusting, sweeping, as well as collecting and emptying trash cans daily.
• Service, clean, and supply any items in restrooms.
• Make minor repairs when necessary, such as changing a light bulb.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Driver’s License and good driving record is necessary.
• Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be flexible with task assignments and respond to the needs of the shop operations team.
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team to meet the objective of servicing the customer and vehicle.
