The Role

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities that support key customers, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional teams. This role has primary responsibility for managing quality system processes, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), non-conformance management, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer quality concerns. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality management systems. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong and consistent presence on the manufacturing floor, in quality laboratories, and within clean-room production environments. The Quality Supervisor works directly with production personnel, engineers, technicians, and inspectors to drive process compliance, product quality, contamination control, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Quality Inspectors and Technicians to ensure consistent execution of quality requirements.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive improvements in defect reduction, scrap reduction, and process capability.
• Conduct and support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Lead internal corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or other applicable standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process validations, risk assessments, PFMEA, control plans, and quality improvements.
• Ensure inspection activities, documentation, and records meet customer, regulatory and company requirements.
• Train personnel on quality procedures, standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
• 3+ years of Progressive experience in Aerospace Quality Administration.
• 3+ years experience Plastics, Machining, and/or Injection Molding Operations
• Analytics, Project management (Preferred)
• Auditor and ISO: ASQ (CQE, CQM, CQA) certification (Preferred)
• WCM or Six Sigma Greenbelt (Preferred)
