What You'll Do
- Delegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of Quality Technicians
- Provide coaching and training to Technicians
- Escalate quality issues with Management and Engineering as needed
- Drive improvements in quality operations
- Aid Quality Technicians on in-line decision making
- Provide regular reports & updates to Quality team and Management
- Assist in management of material disposition
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of leadership experience, supervising a team of 10 or more employees
- Certification in a quality-related field such as six-sigma, TQM, or equivalent (a plus)
- Familiarity with measurement system analysis (physical measurement techniques i.e. CMM, optical comparator) and analytical techniques like GD&T, Gage R&R
- Familiarity with dealing with Part Quality Issues and SORTs/SCARs
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing process
- Easily demonstrate ability to drive issues to root cause solutions in previous experience
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- SQL skills preferred, with the ability to command the English language, both written and verbal
