About the role
The Quality Specialist will manage quality documentation, support internal and external audits, and prepare technical reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality documentation, including SOPs, policies, and training programs
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
- Support internal and external audits
- Create detailed and concise procedures with input from quality/manufacturing engineers
- Process data and transform engineering test logs into results reports
- Review and revise technical information and ECO changes as necessary
- Prepare documentation for customer delivery and upload to documentation directory
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, a Technical degree preferred
- Experience: 5+ years of business experience in a quality department or documentation management, preferably in the defense industry
- Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP)
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-810 and/or MIL-STD-461
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good technical writing skills
- SAP Experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Experience working with technical and nontechnical team members and stakeholders at different levels in engineering field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Creativity, flexibility, self-sufficiency, & self-motivation
- Aptitude for learning new tools or programs
- Ability to plan and organize workload under minimum supervision

Pay
$62,800.00 - $83,700.00 per year
