About the role

The Quality Specialist will manage quality documentation, support internal and external audits, and prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality documentation, including SOPs, policies, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Create detailed and concise procedures with input from quality/manufacturing engineers
  • Process data and transform engineering test logs into results reports
  • Review and revise technical information and ECO changes as necessary
  • Prepare documentation for customer delivery and upload to documentation directory

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, a Technical degree preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of business experience in a quality department or documentation management, preferably in the defense industry
  • Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP)
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-810 and/or MIL-STD-461

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good technical writing skills
  • SAP Experience is a plus

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Experience working with technical and nontechnical team members and stakeholders at different levels in engineering field
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Creativity, flexibility, self-sufficiency, & self-motivation
  • Aptitude for learning new tools or programs
  • Ability to plan and organize workload under minimum supervision

Pay

$62,800.00 - $83,700.00 per year
