About the role
The Quality Specialist supports the Clifton Park, NY and Kent, WA logistics operations by maintaining and improving the Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS). This role partners with site leadership to support R2v3 and ISO compliance, internal & external audits, document control, customer issue tracking, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement of the Quality & Environmental Management System.
- Help ensure compliance with R2v3 (handling of EWaste responsibility), ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 and other applicable quality and environmental standards.
- Track customer-facing issues, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive action processes.
- Maintain document control processes to ensure procedures and records are current, accurate, and properly managed.
- Absorb all internal and external audits, KPI reporting, management review preparation, and site-level quality improvement efforts.
- Monitor quality-related processes within the logistics operation and support initiatives that improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience supporting or auditing R2v3, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance in a quality-focused environment.
- Knowledge of operational planning, data analysis, reporting, and quality management processes.
- Experience evaluating customer needs, service quality, and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with database or administrative systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel to the other TCS’s at a minimum of twice a year.
Qualifications
