Quality Specialist
Position Summary
The Quality Specialist is responsible for compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. This role focuses on inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing leadership skills for future advancement into supervisory and managerial positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
- Absorb and analyze quality data; prepare reports for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Ensure compliance with standards and applicable regulations.
Standard Tasks
- Perform audits and inspections of processes, equipment, and work practices to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate and report defects or deviations to production supervisors as scheduled or needed.
- Absorb and assist in corrective actions.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Document all findings and records into systems.
- Review and investigate CARs looking for trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality control or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2+ years in quality assurance roles within manufacturing or construction environments.
- Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Knowledge of quality management systems. Ability to conduct audits and inspections. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Typical Work Environment
- Indoor construction site with some outdoor yard use.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions up to 10% of the time.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses up to 100% of the time.
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $28 – $32 per hour. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Rise Modular’s Total Rewards package for employees.
