Quality Site Lead - Part Qualification

As a Quality Site Leader, you will ensure our team’s collective on-site services for our Aerospace and Defense Industry customer in Enfield, CT are achieved with utmost timeliness and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee in-bound quality documentation and record reviews, including dimensional and visual inspections.
- Create First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages based on AS-9102 Rev C standards.
- Perform out-bound order verification and release (DPRV/DQR status required).
- Ensure daily work aligns with customer priorities, completion targets, and established quality standards.
- Track and convey progress and quality concerns daily as the first Point of Contact (PoC) for the team and customer.
- Accurately and professionally communicate insights and inquiries to off-site leaders, following through to resolution.
- Assist in roles such as incoming inspection, quality documentation reviews, FAIR package creation/submittal, and order release.
- Collaborate with multiple computer systems/software and engage daily with project leaders, peers, and customers.
- Conduct similar Quality Engineering work in part qualification management, non-conformance management, Quality Management System involvement, or Continuous Improvement oversight.
- Manage, train, and maintain team morale, resolving conflicts and ensuring staff adherence to policies.
- Enforce site-specific safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA and ISO.
- Liaise with customer leadership to communicate progress, address concerns, and implement project requirements.
- Report on site performance, manage site budgets, and contribute to strategic planning and process improvements.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on forecast/actuals of team performance.
- Develop customer relationships and ensure effective flow-down of information to the team.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and guide team members, including career development plans and performance assessments.
- Lead or sponsor team growth events and support Quest Global managers with data, summaries, updates, and audits.
- Approve timecards, assist with resource planning, and address employee benefits questions.
- Resolve conflicts, identify system/process root causes, and generate corrective actions.
Requirements
- BS Technical Degree (preferred) or minimum 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Alternate: 12+ years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree or non-technical degree.
- Other technical certifications (DQR, CQE, Audit, Lean/Six Sigma, etc.) are noteworthy.
- Experience leading and documenting customer service/deliverable-oriented formal projects from pre-quote to closure.
- Experience leading teams (up to 15 members) performing customer-oriented services.

- Reviewing, comprehending, and compiling technical data.
- Creation of AS9102-Rev C First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages.
- Creating/reviewing PPAP and/or MRL packages (noteworthy but not required).
- Leading formal Root Cause/Corrective Action team projects.
- Conducting internal process/quality audits.
- Operating in procedure-based and regulatory-controlled environments.
- Monitoring, tracking, resolving/escalating, and reporting results.
- Interacting with MRP/ERP systems.
- Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to obtain and retain Quest Global Project Management Certification following company-provided training.

Pay
Pay Range: $70,000 – $100,000 USD. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
Schedule
This role operates 6 days per week, 6 AM – 6 PM, with some flexibility required to interact with all team members in reasonable timeframes. The position is on-site in Enfield, CT, and requires the ability to commute with your own transportation.
Work environment includes a shop floor/distribution site with extensive walking/standing and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Use of PPE (e.g., safety shoes) is required where necessary.
Minimal additional travel may be required. US citizenship is mandatory.
