Job Description
The Quality, Safety & Training (QST) Supervisor is located in Bedford, NH. The QST Supervisor is a leadership role within the Quality, Safety & Training (QST) Department, responsible for safety training, technician onboarding, and field training support across assigned markets. This role does not carry QA inspection or quality compliance oversight responsibilities.
Safety Training, Evaluation & Enforcement
- Teach and reinforce safety processes and expectations during onboarding, training labs, and field support.
- Perform real-time documented safety and tools inspections in the field.
- Evaluate safety compliance during training activities and inspections.
- Actively engage technicians when non-compliance is identified through coaching and corrective guidance.
- Escalate repeat or serious safety non-compliance to Operations leadership for disciplinary action when required.
- Prepare and present safety-related topics for weekly tailgate meetings.
- Support the development and administration of monthly safety quizzes.
Training & Development
- Carry out onboarding training and field support for technicians.
- Lead and support training labs and hands-on instruction.
- Ensure alignment between classroom instruction, lab standards, and field execution.
- Support remedial and refresher training based on performance trends and field observations.
Documentation & Systems
- Maintain training records and onboarding tracking documentation.
- Administer and maintain training-related systems (EdApp/SafetyCulture, JotForm).
- Generate reports and summaries to support visibility into training and safety performance.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support within QST training functions.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Management teams across assigned markets.
- Communicate training and safety findings, trends, and risks clearly and professionally.
- Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in safety training, technical training, or field operations.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate safety compliance and coach individuals toward improvement.
- Strong understanding of safety processes and field standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in field, training, and administrative environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with training platforms (EdApp/SafetyCulture) or digital documentation systems preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally as required.
Compensation
This is a full-time salary-based position. Salary range $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience.
