Quality Reviewer

About the role

Review low severity property and/or casualty claims to ensure quality and compliance with client instructions and service level agreements. Investigate and analyze quality trends, recommend solutions, and ensure corrections are made.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and accurate testing of claims before submission to clients (primarily personal lines and large national accounts with some limited commercial assignments).
• Review and verify claims information to ensure proper processing in accordance with established quality standards.
• Read and interpret customer and vendor specifications.
• Review transactions and compare to source documents to resolve errors and provide proper feedback.
• Verify corrected material and prepare quality assurance reports as appropriate.
• Analyze claims and process trends and make corrective recommendations.
• Assist in the identification of new procedures, methods, and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the quality process.
• Provide analysis and consulting support for the development and support of adjusters in the field.
• Provide detailed feedback to service centers regarding trends and anomalies in claim files.
• Continuously monitor process performance and report performance to responsible management.
• Remain up-to-date with QA industry standards, principles, and practices.
• Pursue continuing education and development of skills.
• Uphold the Crawford Code of Conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience handling property and/or casualty claims with at least one year of audit/quality control experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in estimating and/or property adjusting.
• Active Adjuster license required.
• Three years of experience in Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
• Xactimate Level 2 Certification preferred.
• Must have or secure and maintain the appropriate license(s) as required by the state(s) at the adjuster level.
• Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services.
