Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database querying
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, and SSRS
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, power query, data analysis functions)
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in report writing, data analysis, or a related role
- Experience working with EHR systems; familiarity with EPIC is a plus

Skills
- Develop SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, analyze, and validate data from EHR and other organizational databases
- Create, design, and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and EPIC
- Create standard, recurring, and ad hoc reports to support clinical operations, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance
- Manage and maintain reporting-related helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely response, prioritization, and resolution of user requests
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager and other stakeholders to identify reporting needs and translate requirements into actionable data outputs
- Interpret data and present findings in a clear, concise, and user-friendly format for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Validate report outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to distribution
- Document report logic, data sources, workflows, and definitions to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge retention
- Maintain organized documentation of reporting processes and data flows to support ongoing operations and auditing needs
- Knowledge of data transformation, including the ability to work with complex SQL logic and interpret it in M code, is desirable
