About the role
Harvest Solar is a Michigan-based company founded in 2010 that delivers comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction solutions for solar energy. We serve over 11 states across the Midwest and provide full-service installations backed by a 30-year warranty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage solar energy projects from conception to completion
- Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and design customized solutions
- Oversee the procurement and installation of solar equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and proposals
- Participate in the electrical apprentice program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solar energy or related fields
- Strong understanding of solar technology, installation, and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of solar financing options and incentives
- Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices
- Ability to travel as needed
