About the role
The Quality Operations Coordinator supports the Quality Operations Director (QOD) in delivering excellent support and service to WelbeHealth's PACE market operations. Key responsibilities include record review, data collection, EHR auditing, reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned audits by maintaining audit trackers, document inventories, evidence logs, audit schedules, and submission records.
- Audit meeting coordination, readiness activities, interviews, and other audit-related activities through scheduling assistance, note-taking, action item tracking, and logistical coordination.
- Cook up audit deliverable collection activities and follow up with departments regarding outstanding requests, escalating concerns to the assigned Audit Specialist as appropriate.
- Organize, validate, and prepare audit files according to audit team standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform document quality reviews to ensure required documents are present, properly named, organized, and version controlled.
- Support audit readiness activities, mock audits, training sessions, and departmental outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree preferred; three years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Minimum of two years of work experience in a healthcare setting or related area; PACE experience preferred.
- Comfortable with varied schedules, including nights and weekends, and able to travel for business needs.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and possess Health Information Management expertise.
- Extensive MS office suite experience, strong data gathering skills, and technical skills with computer navigation required.
