Quality Notification Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

About the role

The Notification Coordinator will effectively manage and maintain the internal, supplier, and customer notification system. This role will have responsibility for the execution of quality system activities that contribute to limiting variation in the manufacture of products in order to meet both our specifications as well as our customers' specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information entered into the notification system is accurate and up to date
• Takes necessary steps to ensure notifications are addressed and closed-out in a timely manner
• Avoids delays in notifications by tracking material dispositions and following up if dispositions are not made within a reasonable amount of time
• Participates in the daily internal notification meetings, as needed
• Presents notification data, supporting documentation and samples when needed
• Produces notification reports using SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Maintains and updates splice, label and packaging methods. Works with manufacturing to develop new methods when needed
• Develops and participates in quality department projects
• Works as an Internal audit team member
• Supports AFNA facility Quality Management System

Requirements

• Proficient computer and data entry skills required
• Microsoft Excel experience required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products a plus
• Attention to detail required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all personnel
• Motivated and self-managing
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Reasoning and problem-solving skills
• SAP and notification familiarity a plus
• Experience in manufacturing, flexible packaging industry a plus

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
• 2-3 years previous experience working in a Manufacturing or Quality environment desired
• Bilingual - English/Spanish - required

Benefits

• Compensation: Starting salary between $46,700 to $58,400; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $46,700 to $70,100 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
