Quality Manager - Industrial Manufacturing - Bergen County, NJ
About the role
Lead and oversee all inspection and quality assurance activities within the facility
Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring audit readiness and compliance
Develop and track key quality metrics, driving improvements through data analysis
Handle non-conformances and corrective actions using structured root cause methodologies
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve processes
Conduct internal audits, system audits, and supplier evaluations
Monitor supplier quality and implement corrective actions as needed
Investigate customer complaints and implement preventative solutions
Produce regular reports including performance trends and failure analysis
Identify and implement initiatives focused on continuous improvement and cost reduction
Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team
Deliver training and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks and ISO9001 standards
- Experience with ERP systems and inspection processes
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles; certification is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement equipment
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Results-driven with high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
