Responsibilities
- Aid project teams in creating and executing project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs).
- Support project teams in adhering to contract documents and ensuring their execution.
- Review contract documents and other project materials for constructability and accuracy.
- Identify and analyze critical quality elements from construction documents, submittals, and other project materials to support QMP development.
- Collaborate with project teams to define roles and responsibilities for scheduling inspections, managing the inspection process, and participating in and leading inspection walks.
- Participate and lead quality-related project meetings such as pre-installation meetings, preconstruction meetings, kick-off meetings, mock-up review meetings, first-work inspections, subcontractor weekly syncs, specification reviews, owner progress meetings, and others as needed.
- Lead by example in quality planning and inspection of work in place, document and track conformances and non-conformances, and communicate with project teams and regional leadership on project quality health.
- Assess the effectiveness of project teams in implementing and executing QMPs and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 20+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, Construction Technology.
- Preferred experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMS).
- Proficiency in construction means and methods, work sequencing, and field operations.
- Understanding of quality processes and protocols, ability to develop project-specific written quality plans, and integration with quality-related technology.
- Ability to clarify process expectations, set goals, and performance metrics, explore root causes, foster team collaboration, and manage time effectively.
- Competence in teaching, training, coaching, and facilitating with an adaptable and flexible approach.
- Respect as a competent construction quality professional, capable of connecting with others, establishing clarity and focus, being self-driven and motivated, and committed to personal and organizational development.
- Proficiency in risk analysis and mitigation, effective written and oral communication, strategic development, and process refinement.
- Knowledge or proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 suite and software programs relevant to the project team (e.g., Touchplan, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, etc.).

Pay
The base salary range for this position represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting and is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, level, relevant education, experience, training, skills and abilities, location, and market and business considerations. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of the various factors identified above. The annual base salary range listed is subject to change at any time, in the Company's discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
