Quality Manager
About the role
The Quality Manager at Skanska plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality construction projects. They assist and support Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents on assigned projects, developing plans, directing, and supervising project quality control functions and activities in accordance with the Company or project-required Quality Program.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements project quality control plans
- Directs and supervises quality control activities
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agency QA/QC requirements
- Collaborates with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents to maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Working knowledge of regulatory agency QA/QC requirements
- 10 years of construction experience, with Quality Control Background
- PE is Required or 15 years experience
- Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- BS in Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience
- PE is Required or 15 years experience
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in quality assurance and quality control methodologies
