Quality Manager

Job Overview

Saronic Technologies seeks an experienced Site Quality Manager to oversee Quality operations at their shipyard facility. This role involves leading Quality personnel, implementing the QMS, and ensuring compliance with various standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality personnel and oversee daily operations across fabrication, assembly, integration, outfitting, and testing.

• Represent Quality in customer reviews, audits, and regulatory inspections.

• Ensure QMS implementation and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Support internal and external audits, drive process improvements, and manage nonconformances.

• Provide technical oversight for inspection and test activities, ensuring readiness and conformance.

• Analyze quality data, lead problem-solving teams, and develop process control plans.

• Prepare and deliver quality performance reports and support management reviews.

• Mentor Quality team members and promote a culture of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, with 3–5 years in a management or supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly, and test processes for complex mechanical and electrical systems.

• Proficiency with quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA, and nonconformance management.

• Strong data analysis and reporting skills for monitoring trends and process effectiveness.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Proven ability to build relationships with production, engineering, and customer representatives.
