About the role
As a Quality Manager at SABERT Corporation in Shepherdsville, KY, you will oversee all quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. - Oversee all quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Lead a team of quality control specialists to conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Work closely with production managers to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for quality control staff on new procedures and technologies.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position.
- Proven track record of improving quality processes and reducing defects.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
