About the role
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. This includes overseeing the implementation of quality control processes, managing supplier relationships, and conducting regular audits.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality control procedures and systems.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality management systems.
- Train employees on quality assurance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role.
- Experience with ISO 9001 certification and auditing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
