About the role
This role is based in New Kensington, PA and will work a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead team to support activities related to quality in production (incoming inspection, in process inspection) including managing non-conforming material, resolution of quality issues to support production.
- Monitor production, field failures, and customer complaint data to identify root causes of failures and nonconformities.
- Manage long term corrective actions to drive improvement and/or prevent recurrence of issues.
- Establish / modify processes to drive improvements
- Collaborate with Engineering and review requirements to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood. Validate that any engineering deviations and substitutions are approved and documented.
- Maintain and analyze key performance indicators and cost of poor-quality data to identify recurring trends and drive improvement actions to reduce internal and external supplier failure costs.
- Develop process Failure-Modes-and-Effects-Analysis (pFMEA) and process control plans for new products; update pFMEA based on new failures identified in root cause analysis.
- Drive actions to verify product and process quality to reduce defects both in the plant and in the field.
- Provide risk analysis and mitigation plans to address any gaps.
- Manage Internal Audit program and self-assessments according to defined guidelines of Innomotics Integrated Management System (IMS) to assess effectiveness of supplier quality organization.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
- 2 – 5+ years industry experience.
- ASQ certification preferred.
- People Management experience a plus to have.
- Proven ability of corrective action/problem-solving methodology, including 8D methodology.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills. Proven ability to work across multiple departments, such as Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
- Highly proficient in reading and understanding mechanical/electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency with quality management systems and standards
Qualifications
- Proven ability to communicate technical information with others at all levels, suppliers, and customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.

Pay
The pay range for this position is: $76,548.50 - $164,032.80. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
