About the role
Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Quality Manager to join their team. This is a salaried position with pay dependent on relevant experience. Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s quality assurance system and ensure all products and processes meet internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.
- Oversee internal audit programs, quality documentation systems, and performance metrics to ensure accurate reporting and continuous improvement.
- Provide direction and oversight for calibration systems and equipment validation to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.
- Lead the non-conformance process by ensuring thorough investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective corrective actions within the quality management system.
- Ensure quality processes support safe operations, compliance with procedures, and proactive risk reduction throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and ability to follow ISO 9001 Standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
- Ability to effectively coach and supervise others
- Leadership ability and professional image including strong work ethic, self-confidence, trustworthiness, and the ability to coordinate responsibilities
- Use of independent judgment, discretion, logic, and reasoning in daily decision making and problem solving
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing or related field
- 5 or more years of experience in quality assurance with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly, fabrication, machining, and electrical systems
- Experience with a quality management system for document control, non-conformance, CPA record keeping (Unipoint preferred)
