About the role
The Quality Manager at CEC Facilities Group is responsible for overseeing the Quality Program across all projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Quality Manuals, managing project-based quality representatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and controlling quality throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assemble project specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Perform on-site quality audits to monitor the effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Ensure the Quality System is established and maintained by all relevant parties.
- Communicate project-specific quality requirements to all affected departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Resolve quality nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- 7 years of industry experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Quality assurance experience
- Manufacturing and/or construction qualifications
Qualifications
- Planning and implementing quality controls as per CEC Quality System and contracts.
- Managing the operation of the CEC Quality System.
- Ensuring proper training for all tradesmen and employees.
- Implementing and managing all phases of quality control.
- Communicating project-specific quality requirements to all departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintaining and reviewing project quality-related contract submittals.
- Controlling and resolving quality nonconformances.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Planning and implementing quality controls required by the CEC Quality System and contracts.
- Fully implementing all provisions of the CEC Quality System and related documents.
- Managing the operation of the CEC Quality System.
- Absolutely ensuring proper training for all tradesmen and employees.
- Implementing and managing all phases of quality control.
- Communicating project-specific quality requirements to all affected departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintaining and reviewing project quality-related contract submittals.
- Controlling and resolving quality nonconformances.
Work Environment
