About the role
Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking a Quality Management Specialist-Consultants Division to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The primary responsibility of the Quality Management Specialist – Consultant Division (QMSC) is to ensure the division’s services, processes, and deliverables consistently meet defined quality objectives and standards, as well as regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Audit to ensure compliance and assist in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor the progress of the quality management program.
- Build, develop, execute, monitor, and update the division-wide quality plan, policies, and objectives to ensure staff members comply with quality management objectives.
- Monitor client feedback, staff performance, and internal and external audit findings and responses, working directly with Operation Managers and other staff to address quality concerns.
- Provide mentorship, professional development, communication to other professionals, technical, clerical, and support staff in the Profit Center offices.
- Conduct audits to verify compliance with the division quality management system, identifying root cause(s) and correcting deficiencies.
- Oversee and assist the Profit Centers in developing and maintaining local office quality management systems, including proficiency programs and audits, staff performance/training, equipment maintenance, calibration, and tracking.
- Aid in implementing and managing database systems; assist various Profit Center offices in implementing database systems.
- Assist current and new Profit Center offices in onboarding, providing development, mentorship, and coaching for staff as it pertains to the Division’s quality objectives.
- Support the Division with developing SOP’s and procedures in support of expanding services, scopes, and technological innovations and tools.
- Adhere and support Consultant’s safety activities in alignment with the firm’s safety culture and monitor KPI’s to ensure continuous improvement.
- Notify Direct Report, COO and CEO of all potential disputes that may lead to legal claims or litigation, and support the CEO in settling disputes or defending against litigation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or certification in a field related to Engineering or Construction Materials Testing or Auditing, or Quality.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.
- Possess knowledge of the testing procedure used in a geotechnical and construction materials testing laboratory (ASTM, TxDOT, AASTHO, USCOE, etc.).
- Communicate both written and orally to present organized and thorough information to the intended audience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
