About the Role
The QM Analyst, reporting to the Director of Quality in a High Reliability Organization, ensures compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization. This role involves overseeing and managing clinical outcome data management activities, including developing and implementing data management plans, coordinating and performing data collection and analysis, and monitoring effectiveness through data and internal auditing programs. The analyst will apply clinical knowledge and analytical skills to assist leadership in implementing changes focused on improving quality outcomes.
Responsibilities

- Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills using Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, and flowchart tools.

- Uses performance and process improvement (PPI), project management, and change management methods to support operational and clinical quality initiatives (Performance and Process Improvement).
- Evaluates and improves healthcare processes and care transitions for efficient, effective, and safe care of defined populations (Population Health and Care Transitions).
- Leverages the organization’s analytic environment to guide data-driven decision-making and inform quality improvement initiatives (Health Data and Analytics).
- Directs organization-wide processes for evaluating, monitoring, and improving compliance with internal and external requirements (Regulatory and Accreditation).
- Cultivates a safe healthcare environment by promoting safe practices and improving processes to detect, mitigate, or prevent harm (Patient Safety).
- Directs activities supporting compliance with voluntary, mandatory, and contractual requirements for data acquisition, analysis, reporting, and improvement (Quality Review and Accountability).
- Engages in the healthcare quality profession with a commitment to ethical practice, competence enhancement, and field advancement (Professional Engagement).
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field of study required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three years of healthcare experience.
- One year of quality management experience preferred.
Qualifications
- CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) certification preferred.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred.
Schedule
8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
