Quality Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Individual is responsible for finished goods product quality produced in the facility.
• Responsible for maintaining quality compliance and rectifying non-conformances.
• Creates corrective actions under the supervision of the Manager.
• Develops and retains an understanding of the quality processes.
• Understand industry standards and customer expectations.
• Communicates clearly to both internal and external customers.
• Consistently respond to any customer complaints with a sense of urgency and confidence.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and production employees on quality investigations, responses and solutions.
• Ensure the facility is quality compliant and follows quality guidelines and processes.
• Ensure and assist with the enforcement of quality expectations across departments in production.
• Strategizes and collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues, working toward continuous improvement.
• Understands and uses data to support communication and drive immediate results.
• Maintains records and compliance documentation in an organized manner.
• Afford assistance with various quality and standards audits to ensure continued conformance and certification (SQF, AIB, ISO).
• Schedule activities of the production floor and internal audit teams.
• Maintain knowledge and processes around regulatory requirements for food packaging.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelors Degree preferred
• Experience: Paperboard Packaging experience, preferred.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: SQF, AIB, ISO preferred.
