Quality Lead

About the role

The Quality Lead at Scale is responsible for ensuring top-tier data quality across Generative AI programs. They lead and develop teams of quality control auditors, partner with delivery teams to interpret and improve customer requirements, oversee day-to-day operations, establish and uphold scalable best practices, and drive initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years improving operational/technical processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (particularly in SQL and Google Sheets / Excel) with attention to detail.
• Experience building systems and processes.
• A hands-on background in product management, software development, or top-tier management consulting.
• Proven experience taking initiative in cross-functional technical environments.

Nice to haves

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• A hands-on background in quality assurance.
• Experience in AI/ML services.
• Experience in a fast-growing, less-structured startup environment.
• Experience building teams from the ground up.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position and may be inclusive of several career levels at Scale; it will be determined during the interview process based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process, and confirm whether the hired role will be eligible for equity grant. Pay

The base salary range for this full-time position in the locations of San Francisco, New York, Seattle is: $109,600 - $137,000 USD.
