Quality Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests on plastic raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Document and analyze test results, preparing reports for management review
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate measurements
• Work closely with production personnel to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Absorb and update quality control procedures
• Participate in regular quality audits and inspections
• Keep the laboratory environment organized and comply with safety standards

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• An associate degree in a technical field preferred
• Experience in a quality control laboratory or similar role within the plastics or manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing methods for quality assurance
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry software

Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm
