Quality Inspector (Must Have Quality background or clean room Exp) - Urgent Need

Location: Andover, MA • 9-month contract • 40 hours/week • 1st shift (7 AM – 3:30 PM) • Pay rate: $20–$30/hr • W2 employment for US citizens or Green Card holders

About the role

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, assemblies, work-in-progress, and finished medical devices, and completing documentation to determine conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections per documented specifications
• Conduct testing in conformance with regulations and standards
• Analyze inspection results and determine final product disposition
• Detect nonconforming conditions and identify basic non-compliance within regulations and standards
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
• Adhere to quality guidelines and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations
• Interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Use standard measuring equipment (calipers, RAM optic, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.)
• Follow calibrated-equipment manual procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of Quality Control Inspection experience, preferably in an ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or FDA regulated environment
• Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment
• Proven ability to work with small components and maintain attention to detail
• Demonstrated understanding of calibrated equipment usage
