Skills and Abilities
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Operate all inspection equipment including but not limited to: CMM, Micro Height, ID/OD micrometers, calipers, UT Machine, and Magnetic particle yokes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and customer/regulatory requirements and inspect parts to these documents.
- Perform machine set up verification and first article inspections of parts on the machines.
- Initiate non-conformance reports and any other quality records required by ETFH, customers, and any third-party agency.
- Initiate corrective action request when conditions adverse to part quality are repetitive in nature.
- Meet 2 NDE requirements and as a company certified NDE Level II for UT, MT, and PT.
- Perform all job duties of lower level inspections.
- Assist in training of lower level employees.
- Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, and Group Leaders.
- Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
