About the Role
The Quality Inspector I is responsible for conducting dimensional inspections per design records and documented AQL levels, and conducting visual inspections for obvious defects. They will communicate with suppliers as needed and review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per drawing, AS standards, and Company Quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels;
- Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects;
- Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per drawing, AS standards, and Company Quality standards;
- Communicate with suppliers as needed;
- Disposition and control of non-conforming products.
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent;
- 0-2 years of related work experience or on the job training;
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator;
- Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel);

Special Requirements
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required;
- ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
