Quality Inspector I

About the role

Ascentec is looking for Quality Inspectors to join our team. This critical position provides final assurance to customers that products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing setting, but this is not required.

Schedule

Day shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is an on-site position at our Dallas, Oregon facility and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, In-process and Final inspections
• Primary operator for dedicated metrology equipment – Optical comparator, etc.
• Generate clear and concise Non-conformance Reports
• Ability to work overtime

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T
• Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
• Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material parts
• Experience with operating manual and/or automated CMM a plus
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior machinist experience

Pay

$16 to $21 per hour DOE
