Responsibilities

• Work within BAE's Quality department for the review and inspection of completed assemblies.
• Verify conformance of assemblies using predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect moderate to complex assemblies to ensure compliance to applicable quality specifications and standards.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
• Perform work full-time onsite at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• 0‑5+ years of experience in a similar inspection role
• Ability to learn or experience with inspecting circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, electrical components, and mechanical parts using common inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, GO/NG fixtures, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges)
• High attention to detail
• Self‑motivated

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Familiarity with Military and Industry specifications and standards
• Ability to review and verify conformance and traceability documentation
• Ability to interpret and inspect to technical specifications and drawings
• Ability to navigate and organize information within a Quality Management System Database
• Inspection of Printed Wiring Boards per IPC‑A‑600
• Inspection of Circuit Card Assemblies per IPC‑A‑610
• XRF testing

Pay

Full‑Time Salary Range: $51,941 – $83,107. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications including skills, education, and experience.
