A stable, growing manufacturer with decades of industry experience, this well-established custom manufacturing organization produces precision machined and fabricated metal components for a diverse range of industries. The position involves performing in-process and final inspections on precision machined and fabricated metal components, interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined and fabricated metal components.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Operate and inspect parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify non-conforming materials and work with production personnel to resolve quality concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process consistency.
- Maintain compliance with established quality management standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Experience operating or inspecting with CMM equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understanding of dimensional tolerances and quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Pay
$25 - $35 per hour
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
