A stable, growing manufacturer with decades of industry experience, this well-established custom manufacturing organization produces precision machined and fabricated metal components for a diverse range of industries. The position involves performing in-process and final inspections on precision machined and fabricated metal components, interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined and fabricated metal components.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Operate and inspect parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify non-conforming materials and work with production personnel to resolve quality concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process consistency.
• Maintain compliance with established quality management standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience operating or inspecting with CMM equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of dimensional tolerances and quality control principles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Pay

$25 - $35 per hour

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
