Quality Inspector C - First Shift

About the role

This is a full-time on-site Quality Inspector role located in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirements
• Utilizing work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data
• Completing first article inspections (FAIs)
• In process inspections for drawing compliance
• Final assembly inspections for product acceptance and workmanship
• Cleanroom and laminar flow bench certification
• Electrical fabrication internal certification
• Receiving inspection processing – dock to stock

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant inspector experience, or, 2 years post Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related inspector experience.
• Possession of IPC certifications 610, 620, J-STD
• Experience using Oracle MRP/ERP system
• Experience using Dassault Systemes Velocity MES
• Intermediate understanding of GD&T
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials
• Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
