Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team and play a key role in ensuring that products meet established quality standards before being shipped to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials and finished products according to established quality standards.
  • Inspect products for defects, damage, discrepancies, and other quality issues.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, measuring tools, and other inspection equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Compare products against drawings, specifications, and established quality criteria.
  • Identify, document, and properly segregate non-conforming products.
  • Record inspection results, including quantities inspected and types of defects identified.
  • Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings to warehouse, quality, sales, and other internal teams.
  • Assist with identifying recurring quality issues and communicating potential corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company quality procedures, safety policies, and applicable standards.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, or a related role.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good visual acuity and ability to identify fine details and product defects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive inspection activities as required.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in areas with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
