We’re hiring for a Quality Inspector Level 2 position in Hawthorne, CA. This is an opportunity in which you will be supporting either first shift or 2nd shift at full time hours. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections—visual, dimensional, and physical—on components, assemblies, and raw materials throughout various production phases (including in-process, final, and first article) to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Operate and utilize precision measuring instruments such borescopes to do inspections on tubes
  • Apply sharp visual inspection skills to identify workmanship issues and product defects, including damage such as burrs, scratches, loose fasteners, dings, and inadequate edge distances
  • Identify and categorize nonconformities and confirm that corrective actions or rework have been properly executed
  • Receiving shipping documentation for accuracy, confirming part numbers, serial numbers, change notices, and destination data are correct

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on quality inspection experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity standards
  • Hands on experience with borescopes
  • Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions preferred
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and software
  • Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check
  • Must be ITAR compliant
