About the Role
QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Quality Inspector to support production at our Franklin, MA facility.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as a self-starter.
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections with a focus on machined and assembled mechanical components.
- Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings, and acceptance tests.
- Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and Deltek.
- Apply knowledge of test and inspection methodology.
- Properly utilize standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height stands.
- Support QMS, AS9100D, and CMMI processes.
- Support assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans.
- Ensure inspection equipment used is calibrated.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience working on DOD electromechanical products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical communications and team-building skills.
- Ability to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office, and configuration management.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Good trigonometry/geometry math skills.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment.
- Recent experience operating under CMMI.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $30.00 - $34.00 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
