Quality Inspector

About the role

Work in all areas of manufacturing to ensure product meets the design intent and customer’s expectations. Report any issues that do not meet these standards and assist in corrective and preventive action measures when issues are found. Also assist in calibration and receiving inspection.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and following a Quality Audit program in the facility's fabrication, assembly, and weld areas.
• Communicating and reporting audit results.
• Aiding in problem-solving to implement corrective actions when issues are found.
• Audit the corrective actions to ensure they are maintained.
• Audit AMSE, UL, and MAT procedures.
• Assist with calibration of testing equipment.
• Assist in receiving inspection.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma.
• A 2-year technical degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Layout inspection, inspection equipment, and CMM experience.
• Experience in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing is a plus.
