Quality Inspector

1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

About the Role

The Quality Inspector will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies, and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities. Responsibilities include open set-up inspections using a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards, as well as supporting Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility. Mechanical inspection and daily use of GD&T and blueprint reading skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of machined components, assemblies, and castings.
• Conduct open set-up inspections using inspection equipment and visual standards.
• Support Operator Certification initiatives across the facility.
• Perform mechanical inspections.
• Utilize GD&T and blueprint reading skills daily.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing background.
• 0-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment.
• Excellent written, oral communication, organization, and computer skills.

Preferred Skills

• Medical Device inspection experience.
• Blueprint interpretation skills and working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics.
• ASQ Certification.
• Optical Comparators experience.
• CMM operating experience.

Pay

$27 per hour
