Requirements

The right fit for this role is someone who is self-motivated and proactive, possesses a can-do attitude, and has good attendance. They should want to be challenged and be willing to learn new things, be able to make good decisions and adapt well to changes, work well in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with teammates. They should also be able to read and comprehend written instructions and units of measurements, and possess moderate computer skills with a variety of software packages.

Job Details

This is a Full Time – Hourly position, 1st Shift 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday), with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing daily product inspections based upon the company’s internal specifications and customer requirements to ensure the product meets the customer’s expectations. This includes:

  • Interpreting customer requirements and drawings
  • Performing product inspections and testing, including start-up approval checks, quality checks, and variety changes
  • Identifying non-conforming product and taking necessary actions to document and segregate
  • Investigating and resolving internal non-conformities
  • Generating and/or verifying labels and pallet tags for finished product identification
  • Conducting final inspections/close-outs duties
  • Taking on special projects, as instructed by Management

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required, and one to three years of working experience in Quality Control, within a manufacturing setting, is strongly preferred.
