Schedule
This position is onsite in Groveport, OH with a 1st shift schedule: Sun–Thursday, with flexibility for longer hours based on business and peak needs.
- Sunday: 6AM–2:30PM
- Monday: 7AM–5:30PM
- Tuesday–Thursday: Start times vary depending on volumes (8-hour day).
Responsibilities
- Pre-startup inspection.
- In-process inspection.
- Finished pallet inspection.
- Identifies non-conforming materials; notifies Leads.
- Line clearance verification.
- Return product inspection prior to release back to inventory.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Company safety policies and regulations.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to accurately work with statistical data and identify inconsistencies and problem areas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Basic math and measurement skills; ability to use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read orders and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Read and write in English; bilingual helpful.
- Ability to effectively practice good documentation and recordkeeping.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient in use of mainframe and other systems including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and set priorities.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proven problem solver.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Access software.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Able to withstand constant physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).
- Able to be on your feet all day.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items).
- Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
- Able to work overtime.
- Constant exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipment.
