PacAero · Agawam, MA · 1 mo ago
On-siteQuality AssuranceFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The description includes "Ready to build parts that matter? PacAero is looking for a 2nd shift QC Inspector (Machining) to join our manufacturing team in Agawam, MA." That's like an intro paragraph. Then "Why Join PacAero?" list of benefits. Then "What You’ll Do" responsibilities. Then "What We’re Looking For" qualifications/requirements. Then "Schedule: Full-time | Second Shift | Onsite in Agawam, MA | Monday–Thursday (4, 10-hour days)" and mention second-shift differential, overtime. That's schedule info. Then "Requirements" list of duties (maybe duplicate of responsibilities). Then "Qualifications" list. Then "Physical Requirements". Then "Work Environment & Physical Requirements". Then "Expected Compensation" (but we should not create Pay section unless posting actually states them; here it says "Expected Compensation" but no actual numbers, just description. It says "The anticipated pay range posted for this position represents PacAero (Litron, LLC)’s good-faith estimate of compensation for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors..." No specific numbers. According to rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. The posting does state schedule details (full-time, second shift, onsite, Monday-Thursday 4 10-hour days, second-shift differential, overtime may be required). So we can include Schedule section with that info. Benefits: they list benefits in "Why Join PacAero?" and later "Benefits PacAero offers a comprehensive benefits package..." So we can include Benefits section. Pay: they have Expected Compensation but no actual numbers or range; it's just description. According to rule, we should not create Pay section unless posting actually states them (i.e., specific numbers or range). Since they didn't give numbers, we should omit Pay section. Also we should not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate like EEO, ITAR, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include: - Intro paragraph: "Ready to build parts that matter? PacAero is looking for a 2nd shift QC Inspector (Machining) to join our manufacturing team in Agawam, MA. In this role, you’ll inspect high-precision machined components used in critical aerospace applications, helping ensure every part meets engineering, customer and quality requirements before it moves through production. We’re looking for someone with experience inspecting machined components who understands tight tolerances, knows their way around precision measurement equipment, and takes pride in getting the details right." - Why Join PacAero? list: Monthly bonus opportunities, 12 paid company holidays — including your birthday!, Medical, dental, vision, disability coverage & more, 401(k) with up to 4% company match, Employer HSA contribution, Separate PTO and sick time, Second-shift differential, Employee events, celebrations and recognition throughout the year, Stable, growing aerospace manufacturing environment with opportunities to develop your skills and career, At PacAero, we work hard, have fun, and get stuff done. We believe culture matters — from recognizing great work and celebrating wins to creating a place where people enjoy coming to work and feel like part of the team. We could combine the paragraph after list as part of Why Join PacAero? maybe as prose. - What You’ll Do: responsibilities list. - What We’re Looking For: qualifications/requirements list (maybe combine with Requirements and Qualifications? But we need to follow headings: we can have sections: Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Schedule, Work Environment & Physical Requirements? But we need to avoid thin sections. Let's see content: Responsibilities (What You’ll Do) list. Requirements (the "Requirements" section after "What We’re Looking For"? Actually there is a "Requirements" heading later with a list of duties (perform in-process and final visual...). That seems like more detailed responsibilities. Could merge with responsibilities. Qualifications section later with list. Physical Requirements and Work Environment & Physical Requirements. Schedule. Benefits. We should not create thin sections; but we have enough content for each. We need to use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Thus we will omit the EEO paragraph, ITAR paragraph, etc. We need to preserve all substantive information: that includes the schedule details, benefits list, responsibilities, qualifications, physical requirements, work environment. Let's extract and deduplicate. Intro paragraph: as above. Why Join PacAero? list: we have bullet points: - Monthly bonus opportunities - 12 paid company holidays — including your birthday! - Medical, dental, vision, disability coverage & more - 401(k) with up to 4% company match - Employer HSA contribution - Separate PTO and sick time - Second-shift differential - Employee events, celebrations and recognition throughout the year - Stable, growing aerospace manufacturing environment with opportunities to develop your skills and career - At PacAero, we work hard, have fun, and get stuff done. We believe culture matters — from recognizing great work and celebrating wins to creating a place where people enjoy coming to work and feel like part of the team. We could keep the last sentence as prose after list. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) list: - Perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision machined components using engineering drawings, specifications and applicable quality requirements. - Use a variety of precision measurement and inspection equipment to verify parts meet dimensional, geometric and workmanship requirements. - Work closely with Machining, Quality and Engineering to identify and communicate issues, support root-cause investigation and keep quality parts moving through production. Also later in Requirements section there is a more detailed list: - Perform in-process and final visual, dimensional, and microscopic inspections of precision machined and plated components - Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and applicable customer requirements - Use precision measuring and inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gage pins, optical comparators, Visual CMMs, inspection microscopes, and other applicable tools - Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements - Verify parts meet customer, engineering, dimensional, workmanship, and quality requirements - Identify and document nonconforming material and complete required quality documentation, including rework and nonconformance reports - Review Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness - Accurately document inspection results and maintain required quality and inspection records - Verify inspection equipment is appropriate for use and within required calibration status - Work collaboratively with Machining, Plating, Quality, Engineering, and Production to investigate discrepancies and resolve quality concerns - Support continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and customer requirements - Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready inspection area - Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements - Perform other related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager We could combine these into a single responsibilities list (maybe under Responsibilities). The earlier short list is subset; we can just use the detailed list. What We’re Looking For (maybe Qualifications) list: - Previous experience inspecting precision machined components in a manufacturing environment is required. - You should be comfortable reading engineering drawings, interpreting dimensions and tolerances, and using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators and other inspection tools. - Experience with GD&T and CMM inspection is highly valued. - Aerospace, defense or other high-precision manufacturing experience is a plus. - If you have a strong eye for detail, understand what quality looks like and aren’t afraid to speak up when something doesn’t look right, we want to hear from you. Later Qualifications section list: - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus - 1–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Experience inspecting precision CNC machined components strongly preferred - Experience inspecting electroplated components or working in a plating environment is highly valued - Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gage pins, optical comparators, Visual CMMs, and inspection microscopes - Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation - Knowledge of GD&T preferred - Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or another high-precision manufacturing environment preferred - Strong computer skills for inspection documentation and quality records - Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams - Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement We can combine these into Qualifications list. Physical Requirements list: - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. - Excellent visual acuity, including prolonged microscope use. - Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. - Ability to perform repetitive precision inspection tasks. - Frequently handle small, intricate components. - Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. - Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while using precision inspection equipment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements (some duplication) but we can keep as a paragraph describing environment: "This position works in an active manufacturing and quality inspection environment and requires regular interaction with precision machined and plated components, inspection equipment, and production areas. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may require standing and sitting for extended periods; sustained visual focus while performing detailed and microscopic inspections; regular use of precision measuring and inspection equipment; handling, positioning, and inspecting small or detailed components; occasional bending, reaching, and movement throughout production areas; and occasionally lifting and moving materials or components weighing up to 40 pounds." We could merge Physical Requirements and Work Environment into one section maybe "Work Environment & Physical Requirements". But we already have Physical Requirements list; we could keep both but avoid duplication. The Work Environment paragraph includes similar points; we could keep the paragraph as prose and maybe not repeat list. But we need to preserve all substantive info; the list includes specifics like ability to sit/stand, visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, repetitive tasks, handling small components, occasional lift up to 40 lbs, ability to work safely. The paragraph includes standing/sitting extended periods, sustained visual focus, regular use of equipment, handling small components, occasional bending/reaching/movement, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. So we can combine into a single section "Work Environment & Physical Requirements" with a paragraph that covers all points. Or we could keep list and paragraph; but to avoid thin sections, we can make one section with both list and paragraph? The rule: use

    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. So we can have a section with heading, then a

      prose, then a

list. That's fine. Schedule: we have schedule details: Full-time | Second Shift | Onsite in Agawam, MA | Monday–Thursday (4, 10-hour days). This position is eligible for a second-shift differential. As part of a manufacturing environment supporting customer demand, overtime may occasionally be required, including extended shifts or additional days when business needs arise. We can put that in a

under Schedule heading. Benefits: we have list from Why Join PacAero plus maybe the Benefits paragraph later: "PacAero offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible full-time employees, including medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; company-paid life and disability coverage; HSA/FSA options with
