Quality Inspection/Final Test II

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of completed products
• Verify conformance to all specified requirements
• Physical inspection and functional inspection of electrical components
• Operate test bays/stations and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot and/or repair faulty components
• Audit product evaluations against NEC and UL/CSA standards
• Review order write-ups
• Operate components
• Ensure product quality
• Work with other areas to ensure product quality
• Verify units to meet agency approvals

Requirements

• Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools
• Uses multi-meters
• Uses hypot-tester
• Uses leak check equipment
• Uses computer
• Uses refrigeration manifold gauges
