Quality Insights Analyst
About the role
The Quality Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring Patagonia's products meet high standards of quality. This position focuses on understanding product performance through customer feedback and influencing quality improvements across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics to derive insights and present them in a clear, actionable manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product performance improvements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Build expertise in customer perceptions of product quality and develop strategies to enhance these perceptions.
- Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Drive projects that inform product creation teams about quality improvements, leading meetings and documenting progress.
- Extract and analyze data from returns, customer reviews, and manufacturing reports using SQL.
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking quality metrics, defect trends, and factory performance across product categories.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and communication.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Understanding of basic quality concepts or product lifecycle in apparel or consumer goods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving priorities and data.

Pay
Hiring range: $105,000 - $110,000 USD annually. Individual pay varies based on skills, experience, and available budget.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, with a standard schedule of Tuesday - Thursday on-site and remote work on other days. Occasional additional office visits may be required for team events or critical meetings.
