Pay

$24.50 - $32.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Quality Improvement Reviews for all programs at intake, during treatment, and at discharge under the supervision of the Quality Improvement Supervisor.
  • Track trends of re-occurring compliance issues and report them to the Quality Improvement Coordinator.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory and licensing standards by program requirements; identify changes and new requirements.
  • Attend compliance and/or quality assurance meetings at the county.
  • Maintain timely and reliable attendance.
  • Assist in developing and revising policies and procedures according to regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Assist as necessary with stakeholder audits.
  • Support compliance and revision of tools, policies, and procedures to align with quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide quality service to clients as required by Cedar House Life Change Center, State, and County Requirements.
  • Perform life-saving measures when needed to protect the lives of Cedar House clients and employees.
  • Consistently apply trauma-responsive practices to promote safety, trust, and healing.
  • Train or assist in the training of co-workers as needed.
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in alcohol/drug treatment.
  • Registered upon hire under an accredited drug and alcohol certification program (CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP); certification preferred.
  • KIPU experience (preferred).
  • Quality Improvement experience (preferred).
  • Completed twelve years of education or have a GED.
  • Complete continuing education and trainings as required by Cedar House, County, and State mandates.
  • Maintain current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

  • Thorough understanding of the nature of alcohol/drug addiction and its recovery process.
  • Knowledge of state, county, and CARF substance use disorder treatment facility standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
  • Move around inside the office occasionally to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Climb up or down a ladder or equipment to maintain files in file cabinets.
  • Communicate information and ideas clearly so that others can understand.
  • Observe details at close range.
  • Occasionally move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Working Environment

  • Not exposed to weather conditions while performing job duties.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
