Quality Facilitator
About the Role
The Quality Facilitator plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for coordinating quality assurance activities, facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues effectively. The Quality Facilitator acts as a liaison between production, engineering, and quality departments to promote a culture of quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. By analyzing data and identifying trends, the facilitator helps drive corrective actions and preventive measures that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes to maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and operational efficiency within the manufacturing industry.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Quality (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Six Sigma Green Belt).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality data analysis software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience facilitating quality training sessions or workshops.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and facilitate quality assurance processes and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing quality data to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Communicate quality performance metrics and improvement plans to stakeholders across departments.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and reports.
