About the role
RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, seeks an individual to join their team. This role is classified as Onsite.
Responsibilities
- Performs receiving inspection activities.
- Supports First Article Inspection activities.
- Prepares reports and maintains records as required.
- Maintains necessary certifications as required.
- Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required.
- Ensures compliance with Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
- Performs high touch, in-person inspection responsibilities.
- Works in two shifts with occasional overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 10 years of experience, or Associates Degree and 8 years of QA inspection or manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proven track record performing quality assurance inspections with minimal oversight.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings (reading and interpreting).
- Proficiency in torque and assembly methods/processes.
- Customer sell-off experience; fosters excellent working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or PRISM.
- Solid understanding of Quality and Engineering Principles, capable of communicating quality and engineering criteria/issues to all levels of factory personnel.
